This training will survey the 14 programs that comprise the ICE Agreements of Cooperation in Communities to Enhance Safety and Security (ICE ACCESS) initiative with special focus on the Secure Communities (SComm) program. These are agreements between ICE and federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies allowing these agencies to assist ICE in the enforcement of federal immigration law. The training will be conducted by Jacki Esposito, Esq., Director of Immigration Advocacy, and Thomas J. Shea, Esq., Director of Training & Technical Assistance, of the New York Immigration Coalition.
