This webinar will focus on the different types of motions typically filed before the immigration courts and the BIA and will describe when and under what circumstances each type of motion should be filed, as well as the strategies, advantages and disadvantages of different types of motions. There will be a particular emphasis on motions to reopen, including tolling of filing deadlines, ineffective assistance of counsel, post-departure motions, and motions to reopen to rescind in absentia orders.
