This manual includes a "roadmap" to handling different kinds of pro bono matters; a legal outline; background materials; and a number of sample documents that may help pro bono volunteers on their cases. 

*Note that this manual was created in 2016 and 2017, and that the manner in which student debt cases are addressed is now in a great deal of flux. It is the responsibility of legal services and pro bono advocates to confirm that all aspects of the law, guidance, and practices are still accurate and appropriate on any given case.
