If civil rights laws become weak and unenforceable, then diversity and opportunity for all Americans is in jeopardy. Because of recent federal court rulings, it is sometimes no longer enough to prove that you were discriminated against. Now you have to prove that the discrimination was intentional-but proving someone's intent or motivation is a very difficult thing to prove in a court of law.
