ALITO: UP OR DOWN?

Many organizations came out both in support of and in opposition to Judge Samuel Alito's nomination. Because Alito was nominated to replace Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, a crucial swing vote in many key cases, the stakes were really high. As the debate heated up and both sides got organized, we found it interesting and informative to see which organizations made stands and statements.
