Our national programs help advocates across the country working on issues such as immigration, disaster response and veterans rights network with each other and access expertise they won’t find anywhere else. These programs also provide pathways for volunteer attorneys to get involved in some the most pressing legal challenges of our time.
Immigrant Justice
Thousands of immigrants face an uphill battle to remain in the US. Our programs equip advocates and volunteers with the tools they need to help make an enormous difference. Visit our Immigrant Justice Lab page to learn more.
Strengthening Disaster Response and Resilience
From Hurricane Katrina to today, Pro Bono Net and our programs have played a key role in mobilizing and networking the legal community to assist the legal needs of disaster survivors. We also work with our field partners to develop online strategies to reach affected communities and help them make informed decisions about their legal rights and recovery. Learn more on our Helping Communities Recover page.
Supporting Military and Veterans Legal Needs
More than 20 million Americans are veterans, and more than 1.29 million Americans are still serving. We collaborate with leading military and veterans-serving organizations such as the ABA Military Pro Bono Project and Veterans Pro Bono Consortium to provide advocates and volunteers with tools and resources to serve current and former servicemembers with legal needs. Connect with these and other national justice networks at https://www.probono.net/network.
Victims of Crimes
The New York Crime Victims Legal Network (CVLN) is a partnership of organizations working together to address the legal needs of crime victims, with NY Crime Victims Legal Help (crimevictimshelpny.org) as the central online hub for information and service.
