Montana Legal Services Association (MLSA) provides free civil legal assistance to low-income people. MLSA provides help in legal cases that include domestic violence, divorce, bankruptcy, debt collection, debtor harassment, evictions, landlord and tenant issues, SSI, SSDI, Native American issues, and other civil legal problems. MLSA is always in search of volunteer attorneys to assist clients in areas where there is not an established pro bono program. MLSA refers clients in the counties directly to volunteer attorneys.
