The (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Program recruits, trains and supervises volunteers appointed by a MA juvenile court judge to advocate for children who have experienced abuse and neglect. There are active CASA programs in: Boston, Berkshire County, Bristol County, Hampden County, Worcester County, Essex County, and Franklin/Hampshire.
Volunteers are screened and go through a minimum of 30 hours of pre-service training. You must be over 21 and be able to commit to 10-15 hours of volunteer work.
