The Office of Military and Veteran Legal Assistance (OMVLA) at the Washington State Attorney General's Office is seeking attorneys to join our Call to Duty pro bono program. This initiative connects low- and median-income veterans, service members, and their families in Washington with 30-60 minutes of pro bono civil legal assistance.

Pro bono attorneys offer up to an hour of civil legal advice in their area of expertise, on their schedule, to clients they select. No additional representation or assistance is required. Volunteering for OMVLA is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who cannot commit to long-term cases, are conflicted out of local matters, or who are new to pro bono work. Many of the requests for assistance we can be answered by someone without specialized knowledge in a practice area, so even attorneys who typically do not advise clients in civil matters may be able to contribute.
