Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans' Vetlaw Program

Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV) is a Veteran-focused nonprofit organization providing services and support to end Veteran homelessness in Minnesota. We envision a future where every Veteran and their family has access to sustainable housing. MACV’s Vetlaw program is committed to removing legal obstacles that prevent Minnesota Veterans from obtaining and maintaining stable employment and housing. Vetlaw provides Veterans with legal assistance, information, and advice via direct representation, community legal clinics, referrals, and phone services. Vetlaw offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities for attorneys and legal professionals with varying levels of experience in public interest law. We are happy to provide training, written materials, and support to volunteers as needed. Vetlaw offers opportunities for attorneys to get experience in the courtroom as well as transactional legal issues.
