The Gender Equality Law Center is a nonprofit legal services and advocacy center. Our mission is to advance laws and policies that will promote gender equality in all spheres of public and private life.
We fight to break down barriers caused by explicit bias and implicit stereotyping that have historically limited rights and opportunities for individuals because of their gender, gender identity, gender expression and/or sexual orientation.
We also work to identify and challenge other biases, including race, age, and religion that impact society's views of women and gender non-conforming individuals.
