ELC is a legal advocacy group uniquely focused on establishing Earth Law, including the rights of nature, through legal initiatives to secure biodiversity and ecosystem rights for rivers, coastal areas and Marine Protected Areas.
We are currently working on legal programs for the Great Lakes, San Francisco and three rivers in Mexico as well as the Patagonian Sea, The Whale and Dolphin Marine Protected Area in Uruguay, a new Marine Protected Area in Costa Rica.
