Volunteer attorneys perform pro bono services through clinics and a limited number of direct referrals. Clinics include: Pro Se Divorce, Eviction Defense, and Will Clinics. Our "Talk To A Lawyer" program emulates "Enhanced Tel-Law" by placing volunteer attorneys in, now, three low-to-mid- income communities for two hours one night per week to interview walk-ins, help them sort out their legal problems and refer them to the appropriate resource. Direct referrals include 501(c)(3) incorporation, wills for homebound senior citizens, and divorces where there is a conflict of interest for other referring agencies. VLP also conducts an annual Onondaga County Elder Law Fair in collaboration with other legal services providers and human services agencies.
