Sound Generations is the most comprehensive non-profit agency serving older adults and their loved ones in Washington State. Established in 1967, we promote the emotional, social, and physical well-being of older adults through a network of community connections and services.
The Long-Term Care Project is a pro bono elder law clinic that runs under the auspices of Senior Rights Assistance (“SRA”), the legal services arm of Sound Generations, a King County non-profit. Volunteer attorneys help seniors, and their families, address many of the core issues that arise with long-term care needs. Right now, these services focus on Medicaid/COPES planning advice, advocacy before the Department of Social and Health Services, and elder-focused estate planning. SRA is a qualified legal services provider with the WSBA, which means that any time you spend representing low income/low resource seniors through the clinic “counts” as CLE credits -- up to 50 credits a year.
