Unity House presents this brief, yet informative mini-conference on intersectional violence: "This is our team's first virtual conference, and we are super excited about our keynote speakers. We have Michelle Corrao, a survivor, advocate and author who will start off discussing her triumph through the system after a heinous gang assault. Michelle now advocates on behalf of victims of sexual assault and is an author. Secondly, we have Chief of Police David P. Hyche from Calera, Alabama speaking about his experience with straw purchases used for illegal firearm purchases, the demographic of a shooters and their access to firearms, and so much more."
