The Battered Women's Justice Project is pleased to announce a webinar on the military justice system and the Legal Assistance Program for attorneys and legal advocates who deal with military-related survivors of intimate partner violence. No matter how a client may be connected with the military, questions arise for civilian attorneys. Often, attorneys need information about how the military discipline/justice system works, and what kinds of legal assistance may be available in civil matters.

Have you ever wondered what kinds of accountability exist for perpetrators of intimate partner violence who are service members? What are courts martial? An overview of the military disciplinary/justice system will be provided, as well as an explanation of the Legal Assistance Program.
