Join us and learn about current family-related issues facing low-income families in the workplace. There will be a discussion of current legislative and policy advocacy campaigns, and how to get more involved in activities that advance the rights of your clients.

Among the issues discussed will be: the current City Council bill that would require employers to provide Paid Sick Leave for workers and family members; issues concerning the federal Family and Medical Leave Act; a proposal for Paid Family Leave Insurance at the state level; pregnancy-based discrimination and breast-feeding issues in the workplace. Forum is FREE. Online registration required at: http://benefitsplus.cssny.org/home/training
