Why You Should Attend
Many lawyers are wondering what they can do to help foster inclusion in the law office. At this program, faculty will explore the types of biases and microaggressions that take place in law offices, how recipients and bystanders can respond to them, and what all lawyers can do to promote equity and inclusion. Participants will also learn about the impact of the 2023 Supreme Court decision on workplace DEI initiatives.

After completing this program, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize the biases and microaggressions that occur in law offices
  • Understand the bystander phenomenon and apply upstander intervention techniques
  • Understand what it means to be an effective ally in the legal workplace
