Arbitration ‘War Stories” Roundtable: Cautionary Tales from Panel, Counsel and Client Perspectives.

Thursday, December 14, 2023 6-7 PM (networking to follow)

Hybrid – ZOOM and in person at the AAA, 150 E. 42nd St., New York, New York

Chris McDonald will moderate a roundtable panel discussion featuring William Crosby, Loretta Gastwirth, David Singer, Lawrence Weinstein and Donald Rose

Like any other human endeavor, an arbitration can be impacted by the flaws, foibles, and frailties of its participants. This program will provide lawyers and neutrals an inside look at some of the challenges that our speakers have faced in arbitrations in which they have participated, with the goal of working through with all attendees how to avoid or address comparable challenges in future arbitrations. Our speakers will have ‘war stories’ to share, but we encourage an interactive dialogue, so please come ready to discuss specific arbitration challenges you have faced in recent practice and workshop them with other practitioners. While helpful to litigators and ADR neutrals, in-house lawyers should also find the program insightful.

Organized by Loretta Gastwirth and William Crosby, Co-Chairs, Domestic Arbitration Committee.

If you are having any trouble registering for this program, please call our Member Resource Center at 800-582-2452.
