Montel A. Cherry is the Deputy Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) and Director of Litigation for Children's Rights at Mobilization for Justice, Inc. As the Deputy Director of DEI, Ms. Cherry develops and implements programs and services that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, including working reviewing and instituting policies with an anti-racist lens, creating, measuring, and evolving internal and external DEI goals, and training legal services organization on racial justice best practices.

In light of the AEP's Racial Justice and Model Practices (RMJP) that seeks to strengthen cultural competency among our volunteers and educate on the nature of structural racism, Montell A. Cherry will be our featured speaker at a Lunch and Learn on October 26th from 12PM - 1PM during ABA's Pro Bono Week. Bring your lunch and join us for an insightful and essential conversation will benefit all attorneys looking to deconstruct their biases and improve how they serve clients.
