BPLC has partnered with Brooklyn Legal Services Corporation A to provide training resources for staff working and servicing clients facing eviction. This training will cover holdover proceedings, illegal lockouts, as well as proceedings to obtain repairs/cure violations known as Housing Part or HP proceedings. In addition, the training will focus on the special considerations tenants face when navigating eviction cases and the challenge of landlord-tenant relationships, protecting parties’ rights, effective agreement writing, and resources available in housing court. This training is an introductory course designed for those interested in helping tenants resolve housing and eviction disputes.
