Join the National Crime Victim Law Institute on March 22, 2018, for a training and collaborative brainstorming meeting of key partners in the New York Legal Assistance Network. During this meeting we will discuss the follow topics to inform an action plan for the Network as it moves into implementation:

  • Capacity- and partnership building strategies used when legal aid programs have limited resources for legal representation;
  • Innovative initiatives that increase the availability of self-help and assisted self-help services in rural communities; and
  • Identifying warm-referral partnerships and developing long-term strategies to increase the number of clients they or their partners can assist.
  • This training is open to key Network Partners and those specifically invited to attend.
