T Visas: Remedies for Victims of Human Trafficking

This training will cover how immigrant victims of human trafficking may be eligible for T nonimmigrant status. The course will cover best practices for representing victims of trafficking, and discuss how to secure continued presence and provide reasonable cooperation for the purposes of obtaining T nonimmigrant status. Information on adjustment of status to lawful permanent residence, as well as petitions for derivatives, will also be provided. The training will be conducted by Lori Cohen, Director of the Anti-Trafficking Initiative at Sanctuary for Families.
