The City Bar’s Annual LGBT Pride Reception provides attorneys, summer associates, law students and others tremendous opportunities to network with members of the LGBT community and to celebrate diversity, in addition to commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising this year.

At this annual event, the LGBT Rights Committee presents the Arthur S. Leonard Award, recognizing compelling commitment to LGBT equality through the law. This year, the awards will be bestowed upon Hayley Gorenberg, Legal Director, New York Lawyers for the Public Interest, and David Miranda, Senior Arraignment Attorney, Criminal Defense Practice, Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem for their outstanding advocacy work for the LGBT community.
