The Living Exhibit

For trial lawyers across the country, we tend to forget our factfinders, whether juries or judges, are an audience deserving the best we can offer. Too many times, we walk into courtrooms with binders full of paper we plan to throw onto some sort of document camera and expect everyone to follow along as we read page after page. The best trial lawyers understand the audience needs to be captivated and then educated as to the importance of that handful of exhibits you present that define the heart of your case.

NITA faculty member Daniel N. Deasy of Greenwood Village, Colorado will give you guidance on the best way to present evidence, use evidence, and bring it to life for your factfinder. Mr. Deasy will also discuss pitfalls for the practitioner “just trying to get through the trial.” For those of who learn through visual stimuli, exhibit use is pivotal to advance your case story. Join us on December 12th, 2017 to understand the power of “the living exhibit.”
