Why You Should Attend
Whether representing children, parents or a child welfare or foster care agency, in private practice, government, public interest practice or as a policy advocate, the issues and the environment in which advocates operate are increasingly complex. This year, PLIs 19th Annual Childrens Law Institute will focus on a variety of social and legal issues affecting child welfare and juvenile justice practice. Experienced practitioners in the law and in social or counseling services will share their practical strategies for addressing challenges.

*Full scholarships and discounts to attend PLI programs are available to pro bono attorneys, judges, judicial law clerks, law professors, attorneys 65 or older, law students, librarians and paralegals who work for nonprofit organizations, legal services organizations or government agencies, unemployed attorneys and others with financial hardships.
