Oklahoma Lawyers for Children "OLFC" is a pro bono program that works to protect "deprived" children in the Juvenile Division of the Oklahoma County District Court.
OLFC's works to protect and promote the health and well-being of children by providing them the full benefit of quality legal counsel.
OLFC provides the following legal services to deprived children:
Shelter Volunteers/GAL (attorneys and non-lawyers, LLIs)
Guardian Ad Litem Services (attorneys, non-lawyers - limited, LLIs)
Show Cause Attorneys (attorneys & LLIs)
Translators (attorneys and non-lawyers)
DDSD Trust preparation (attorneys & law students)
Guardianship preparation (attorneys & law students)
Name Changes (attorneys)
Representation in IEP matters (attorneys)
Representation in Friendly Suits (attorneys)
DHS Adoptions
Contested Step-Parent Adoptions
