Cancer Legal Care provides free legal services and resources to Minnesota cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers. We work with clients on estate planning, employment, Social Security Disability Insurance, health insurance, and more. Our volunteer attorneys do everything from drafting free wills, advising on employment rights, writing demand letters, advising Cancer Legal Care attorneys on relevant areas of the law, performing small research tasks, and advocating for clients on limited scope matters. You could work directly with clients, or serve as a resource for our lawyers. Your case and time commitment would be up to you and what works with your schedule. We do not have the capacity to offer mentorship, but if you work in any of our practice areas, we would love to hear from you. Please contact Erin Hartung at volunteers@cancerlegalcare.org, or fill out our Volunteer Form at https://www.cancerlegalcare.org/get-involved/volunteer.html.
