Provides free legal assistance in a wide-range of civil matters to eligible, low-income Texans.
LSLA has responded to multiple disasters and will have many volunteer opportunities available after a disaster ranging from giving general advice, helping with FEMA, SBA, and Flood Insurance appeals, helping with disputes and cases involving landlords, contractors, consumer issues and a myriad of cases that arise after a disaster and continue longer term. This would include such issues as probate, title issues and assistance with receiving recovery grants.
