Design and Technology Strategies to Advance Community-Centered Justice
Below are descriptions and resources from the three sessions that took place on this day.
Living Justice
As a Black woman in the United States, Antionette D. Carroll's lived experiences navigating and striving to survive the justice system qualify her [and many others] as a living expert of these issues of inequity and oppression, among others. Antionette shared her reflections on various meanings of the word "justice", challenged us all to examine who holds power at decision-making tables and identified what it may look like to amplify the power of living expertise, and outline her vision for redesigning and living in a world that has liberatory justice for communities of color.
