Each year, past presidents of the D.C. Bar host the Presidents' Reception to honor the incoming D.C. Bar president and to support the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center. Contributions to the Presidents' Reception provide nearly one-third of the budget for the Pro Bono Center, which is supported entirely by voluntary contributions.

The 2018 Presidents' Reception will honor incoming D.C. Bar President Esther Lim.
