On Monday, October 28, 2019, the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center will be holding a free training - Small Business Legal Issues: A Training for Volunteer Attorneys at the offices of Arnold & Porter LLP at 601 Massachusetts Avenue, NW.

The purpose of the training session is to expand the pool of lawyers prepared to provide pro bono assistance to aspiring and current entrepreneurs through the Small Business Brief Advice Legal Clinics. This training program, led by attorneys at Arnold & Porter LLP, will focus on business formation, real estate issues, intellectual property considerations, and employment law as they relate to the unique circumstances of small neighborhood-based businesses.

The training will occur from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It is open to all attorneys and we specifically encourage those who wish to volunteer at the Small Business Brief Advice Legal Clinic for the first time to attend.
