The purpose of this course is to prepare communities in planning for economic resilience and recovery from disasters. The curriculum includes practical tools to

Develop stronger partnerships between the public and private sectors
Evaluate community hazard assessments through the lens of economic recovery
Provide resources for public and private sector partners to use in a post-disaster environment
Plan templates for taking action at the community level.
This course will bring together elements of the web-based Awareness Level course titled Principles of Community Economic Recovery and the web-based Performance Level course titled Preparedness Actions to Promote Economic Resilience and Recovery.
