The Affinity Bar Summit is an opportunity to discuss truth, racial healing, and transformation (TRHT) in the legal profession and justice system, in order to provide input to the national and community based W.K. Kellogg TRHT process. Registration and breakfast begins at 9:00 a.m. and the program will kick off at 9:30 a.m. The day will include an interactive workshop in the morning followed by lunch. In the afternoon the large group will develop action steps to implement recommendations and we will send you home with a toolkit to take back to your organization or community. The TRHT focus on the law includes: Local, state, and national policy; Commitment to civil and human rights; Redress the inequities our legal system has created historically; Criminal justice and law enforcement; Integrate restorative justice practices.
