The NCBA YLD will be holding a Wills for Heroes event in Greensboro, North Carolina on Saturday, October 28, from 9:30 am - 5:00 pm (the last appointment will be scheduled at 3:30 pm) at the Elon University School of Law, located at 201 N Greene Street, Greensboro, NC 27401.

No prior estate planning background is required to serve as an attorney or non-attorney volunteer, but typing and computer skills are helpful in order to draft the documents.

We need as much help as possible! Licensed NC attorneys are needed to draft the Wills, Durable Powers of Attorney and Health Care Powers of Attorney. Paralegals, notaries, and law student witnesses are also needed.

Please consider volunteering all day, but we appreciate any time that you can volunteer. If you can only volunteer for part of the day, please indicate if you would like to volunteer for the morning session (9:30 am -1:30 pm) or the afternoon session (12:30 pm - 5:00 pm).
