The Bucks County Bar Association Pro Bono Committee, with sponsorship from Covenant Bank and Hill Wallack LLP, will be holding a program entitled Understanding Immigration Basics in the Current Administration on October 25, 2017 from 4:10 pm - 5:10 pm at the Bucks County Bar Association.

Attendees will receive an overview of  immigration law, with a particular focus on humanitarian protections available to certain children, crime victims and people fleeing persecution. The discussion will include how recent changes to immigration enforcement priorities have left many in our communities more vulnerable, and ways in which interested attorneys can get involved in pro bono efforts.

The Pro Bono Reception will be held following the program with refreshments and hors d'oeuvres. The Arthur B. Walsh Award will be presented to a pro bono attorney at the event.
