Texas Congregational Disaster Readiness is a program developed to assist congregations to prepare for and respond to disasters in the community.  They offer fifteen different response trainings and one of the most requested is Compassionate Care. Compassionate Care can be complicated and one of the areas of confusion is the difference between Empathy and Sympathy. In this training, they address this and give clear examples of each.
