With Zoom occupying the top spot for videoconferencing and courts struggling during the age of social distancing, this program will demonstrate timely techniques for conducting effective trials using this popular online meeting technology.
The two-hour demonstration will provide:

  • The risks and benefits of Zoom as a trial technology platform
  • How a trial proceeds and the mechanics of communicating including objecting judicial trial management across multiple screens
  • Ethical concerns for lawyers and parties using Zoom for trials
  • How to manage trial documents and exhibits
  • Using Zoom for mediation
  • CLE Credit Comments: The ABA will seek 2.00 general CLE credit hours in 60-minute-hour states, and 2.40 general CLE credit hours in 50-minute states. Credit hours are estimated and are subject to each state’s approval and credit rounding rules.
