For new attorneys, transitioning attorneys, or attorneys wishing to learn family law, this training takes a family law case from initial client intake through judgment. Each evening of this six night training, a member of the local family law bench, along with a seasoned family law practitioner, will teach substantive law and provide practical tips so that participants will be able to take on a pro bono case at the end of the training series.

Registration is free but there is a $100 materials fee. Participants must commit to attend all six classes, and to take two pro bono cases within one year of the training.

All classes take place from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm

Wednesdays, October 7, 14 & 21 Thursdays, October 8, 15 & 22

  • CLE Credit Comments: 13.5 hours of MCLE credit (including 1 hour of legal ethics)
