The traditional methods of training staff attorneys and volunteers are changing.  Videos, podcasts, and webcast are tools that are easier to create and distribute than ever before.  A new generation of virtual classrooms is emerging that consolidate all of these tools into an easy to use virtual place. Additionally, the client community is increasingly expecting service via technology.  Long-stranding advocacy concepts and approaches are now finding an outlet through online tools designed to support communities of advocates (lawyers and non-lawyers) that go beyond self-help.

Panelists:

  • Talley Wells, Atlanta Legal Aid Society
  • Kathy Daniels, Statewide Legal Services of Connecticut

Moderator: Claudia Johnson
