The Training Institute on Strangulation Prevention (TISP), a program of the National Family Justice Center Alliance, is pleased to announce that we have opened registration for our 4-Day Advanced course on Strangulation Prevention which will be held at the newly opened Family Justice Center - One Safe Place in Fort Worth, Texas!


Strangulation has been identified as one of the most lethal forms of domestic violence and sexual assault. This Advanced Course covers an in-depth examination of strangulation for multidisciplinary professionals, including the history and research of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Strangulation Crimes, key aspects of the anatomy, physiology, and symptomology of strangulation, and strategies for developing a coordinated response between medical, law enforcement, advocacy, and prosecution professionals.

This course - the only one of its kind - is specially designed for police, prosecutors, medical professionals, advocates, trainers, policy makers and experts.
