One of the consistently unmet needs of low income veterans is help with child support issues. At this taskforce meeting we will discuss downward modifications of ongoing child support obligations, retroactive modifications of child support obligations, outline programs available for disabled and low income veterans with child support arrears, protections for low income veterans who fall below the self-support reserve and we will discuss how the legal services community can help met this unmet need.
