Who Should Attend LSC's TIG Conference: TIG recipients, IT staff, project managers, executive directors, legal services administrators, website coordinators, document assembly developers, attorneys, pro bono coordinators, academics, judges, program developers, software vendors, or anyone with an interest in how to use technology in the delivery of legal services.

What's Covered: Session topics will cover a broad range of technology, including tools for data analysis and business process analysis, online triage and intake, innovations in pro bono, online forms, mobile innovations, video and gamification, and technology to enhance internal legal services operations such as phone systems, document management and technology planning. Sessions will also cover management of TIG projects, including reporting and evaluation requirements.

Opening Plenary and Lunch Speakers: The opening plenary will feature an international panel of experts discussing "Improving Access to Justice through Technology - A Global Perspective." At Wednesday's luncheon, ABA President William Hubbard will provide remarks on expanding access to justice through innovation and technology, and Thursday's luncheon speaker will be LSC President Jim Sandman.

Networking and RAPID FIRE TECH: There will also an opportunity to exchange information in more informal 'Affinity Group' networking sessions that attendees helped determine at registration, and an 'Ignite' style plenary session called 'RAPID FIRE TECH' to provide some fast-paced presentations highlighting technology project successes, new ideas and lessons learned.

Registration Fees: The TIG Conference is open to anyone. Regular registration is $450. Group registrations are $395 for programs registering 3 or more full-paying participants. 2014 TIG award recipients are required to register one person to attend the conference and can do so at no charge. Conference registration includes full breakfast and lunch each day, afternoon breaks, one evening reception, and high speed internet.

Conference Hotel: The main conference hotel, the Marriott Plaza San Antonio, is currently sold out.

Second Conference Hotel Added: Due to high demand, a second conference hotel has been added - the Springhill Suites San Antonio Downtown, 524 South Saint Mary's Street, San Antonio, TX 78205. Phone: 210-354-1333. The Springhill Suites is located a block from the Marriott Plaza, and is an all-suite property, with complimentary breakfast, wifi and parking for TIG attendees. Pre-Conference HotDocs & A2J Training: A HotDocs and A2J Author training will be held January 12-13, 2015 preceding the TIG Conference at the Marriott Plaza San Antonio. This training will offer two tracks. The beginner track will emphasize HotDocs template development, but A2J Author will also be covered. For an optimal learning experience, the beginner track will be limited to about twelve registrants. The second track will be a management track if there’s sufficient interest. The management track will cover how to plan, implement, and support an online forms project. This track will be limited to 15 registrants.
