On Thursday, August 21, at 11 a.m. Pacific/ 12 p.m. Mountain/ 1 p.m. Central/ 2 p.m. Eastern, NHLP will provide a training on the housing protections for survivors under the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013 (VAWA 2013). The webinar will also cover the federal agencies' implementation of VAWA 2013's housing provisions. Topics will include legal protections, advocacy strategies, and practical tips for protecting survivors under VAWA. Participants will have an opportunity to pose questions to the presenters.

This webinar is designed for advocates, attorneys, and others who are new to VAWA 2013’s housing protections, want a review of these safeguards, or would like to know about any updates related to VAWA 2013’s implementation.
