The Immigration Advocates Network invites you to join a free webinar, "Connecting Immigrant Youth to Legal Resources." This webinar is for individuals who work with immigrant youth and want to know more about immigration law and where to send people for help. Please circulate broadly to your networks of immigrant and youth-serving advocates and organizations. We will focus on Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), which allows some undocumented young people to live and work in the United States. A half million potentially eligible people have not yet applied. We'll explain the rules briefly and share helpful resources for applicants and non-lawyers. Then we will open the discussion to questions and ideas for outreach. The panelists are Tatyana Delgado, Staff Attorney, Training and Legal Support, Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC), Rosa G. Saavedra-Vanacore, DACA Fellow, National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild, and Pat Malone, Associate Director, Immigration Advocates Network.
