Eviction defense is one of the most requested legal services by Legal Aid clients.
Come learn about the basics of housing law and unlawful detainer litigation, and how you can help.

Topics include:

  • unlawful detainer procedure
  • post-foreclosure protections for tenants
  • subsidized housing and rent-controlled tenancies
  • settlement negotiations
  • client intake interviews

Free MCLE credit (1.5 hours), in exchange for your commitment to volunteer at a Legal Aid clinic (held three times a week in Redwood City and Daly City) or take a pro bono eviction case.
