Transferring Assets at Death: Do You Really Need a Probate Proceeding?

This training will address when it is appropriate for a family to open a formal probate proceeding following the death of a loved one. We will discuss passing non-probate assets directly to the beneficiary, statutory alternatives to probate, and what to expect if none of these options work.
