This presentation will examine the international, regional, and foreign domestic jurisprudence on the death penalty as cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment or punishment. This presentation will also profile Morocco's compliance with the Convention against Torture in the context of The Advocates' recent submission to the UN Committee against Torture on the death penalty in Morocco.
