Your efforts allowed us to file over 2000 applications for TPS-all with a notice of representation!! That has been a significant commitment on the part of our office. As predicted, the TPS adjudications process has been complicated and time-consuming. CIS generated a number of requests for evidence requiring significant follow-up, and Haitian cases never prove easy!! While we remain hopeful that CIS will extend the registration deadline for TPS (set for July 20) we must remain prepared to help all those who need last minute assistance. CIS reports that receipts for TPS applications have fallen far, far below expectations. We need to make sure that everyone who is eligible to apply meets the deadline for this important, life-sustaining program. I cannot begin to predict the numbers yet to file, but we have to be ready. We may have 10 clients Saturday, 100 or 1000. I am reaching out to you to take time from your busy schedules and help as on Saturday, July 17 at Notre Dame D'Haiti Church, 110 NE 62 Street, Miami, FL 33138. Please sign up for three hour shifts: from 10am to 1pm or from 1pm until 4pm. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the shift for organizational purposes.
