This training is geared to attorneys providing limited legal advice and other service providers assisting unrepresented individuals dealing with the administrative hearing process in connection with publicly subsidized housing benefits. The training will provide an overview of the following topics:

  • Types of publicly-subsidized housing;
  • Eligibility criteria for these kinds of benefits;
  • The administrative appellate process; and
  • Tips and strategies for unrepresented individuals in administrative hearings (e.g., the kinds of documents and/or evidence that individuals should collect).
